I'm an officially accredited Design Sprint Master by Jake Knapp, the inventor of Sprints.

At AJSmart, I have been closely working with Jake as we exclusively use his method for our customers -- companies like Allianz, Lufthansa, RTL, adidas, Western Digital, Udacity, McKinsey, Slack, eBay, Google, and many more.

After running 50 sprints or so ourselves, we started improving the original method to a Design Sprint 2.0 version that we teach at our 2-Day Design Sprint Bootcamps. We're not shy to say that after having run 150 sprints, it's the BEST version out there. It's battle-tested, 4 days, guaranteeing tangible results + an amazing team alignment and work motivation for the project team at hands.

If you have any question, I'd love to hear from.

Workshop Moderation & Facilitation

(1) Workshop Moderation

I help startups and companies. Startups' founders get reality checks in terms of their go-to-market, fundraising, customer acquisition and marketing strategy. Enterprises - either small or large - do need fresh ideas, creativity, and innovations.

(2) Design Sprint 2.0

My workshops are different + make significant business impact. Using Design Thinking at its core, the Design Sprint helps teams to identify core problems and create solutions that will be prototyped and tested with real users - in a matter of 4 days.

My talks are fun, engaging, and surprising. They will unleash actions and empower you and your team not to take 'NO' for an answer. I speak about startups, their enabling nature for corporate innovation and importance in today's idea economy.

Who is Danny?

Hi, my name is Danny Holtschke. My 'leitmotif' is "Be yourself. Everyone else is taken."

After being a digital nomad for two years living in Silicon Valley and South East Asia, I moved back to Berlin in 2017. Currently, I work as a product designer at AJSmart. Since 2018, I'm running the Design Sprint Training Business at AJSmart.

In my free time, I coach entrepreneurs and startups at TechQuartierStartupbootcamp or Betahaus, and teach students at the Berlin School of Economics and Law about Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Startup Ecosystems.

So far, I built and sold a startup and successfully launched several lifestyle businesses (StartupGeist.com. StartupGeist.de, Fotoautomagic.de, StartupSales.com) to experience what kind of businesses and what kind of impact I want to create. With the StartupGeist.com podcast, for instance, I feature Berlin Startups, Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Singularity — a glimpse of tomorrow’s wonderland.

Prior to all that, I worked in Silicon Valley and published the Startup Genome reports — analyzing 25,000 startups to see what makes startups and startup ecosystems successful.

It's fair to say that I experimented and occupied many roles throughout my young career trying to find out what sticks, what I am good at, and where I can provide the most value to my customers. During my Business Administration & later Strategy and Innovation studies at the University Maastricht,  some of my roles were accounting, controlling, finance, entrepreneurship, consulting.

At AJ&Smart, we organised several Design Sprint Bootcamps in Berlin and San Francisco with Jake Knapp , the inventor of Sprints .

Now, I know that I am great at moderating and running workshops (workshops for team alignment, ideation, brainstorming, design thinking). Did I say that I love running design sprints? I love being with teams jumping in and out and help them solve their biggest challenges and make decisions rapidly.

I'd love to hear from you if you're interesting in running design thinking workshops or Design Sprints.
